On June 17, 2025, Taishi Sawada, 2nd dan (Fushimidai Dojo, Ishikawa), visited a dojo in the development zone of Dalian, China, and trained alongside the local students.
The local students welcomed him with a banner bearing Sawada Sensei's name. The spirit of Kyokushin karate, which the late Chairman Noriyasu Hamai spread in China about 20 years ago, is still being passed on to the next generation today.
